The Zen Village
If there was one word describing the spiritual culture of Bali it would have to be “BALANCE”. To balance the exotic complexity of everyday Bali, the Ubud Sari Health Resort has established “the ZEN village”. Accommodations adjoining the most complete alternative health care facilities in Bali are designed around the zen tradition of simplicity and elegance.
When you enter your ZEN cottage, you enter a sanctuary of natural sounds and elements. The rooms are dominated by rich hardwoods from Borneo, softened by exquisite hangings and draperies. Our ZEN cottages are designed to give you peace of mind; simplicity of style in the clean lines and minimal patterning. Only through the experience of no mind and no thing can we appreciate the wholeness, our oneness. Our mind, when calm and clear is open to the rising, inspiring energy from our most vibrant source.
Ubud Sari Health ResortAt the ZEN village and Ubud Sari Health Resort we are dedicated to serving your health needs physically, mentally and spiritually. Through the purity of natural materials used nakedly, exposing the grain of wood, the weave of matting the ZEN cottage gives you an oasis of tranquility. Within the rich wooden confines of your retreat, you are surrounded by views of lush gardens, jungle–like landscape.
A symphony of soothing sounds are always audible like the endlessly flowing rush of a near by waterfall, sweetened by ever-changing songs of birds, and frogs. Nature pervades your space giving ties environment a sense of sacredness where inspiration can take flight.
The ZEN cottage was designed using the Balinese traditional wisdom of Asta Kosala Kosali, similar to Feng-Shui, which accounts for the natural laws relating to interior design, configuration, direction and ambiance.
The ZEN village is served most directly by the staff and facilities of the Ubud Sari Health Resort. Trained in the disposition of healing our staff is especially sensitive to your human needs.
The Ubud Sari Health Resort and ZEN village invites you to reach deeper into this mysterious island culture.
